Caffino Live Roast

It all starts with the coffee…

Most coffee shops boast that they sell only the finest coffee. But with the exception of a few other boutique coffee retailers, most coffee is shipped to them in a sealed bag filled with coffee and nitrogen in order to lengthen the shelf life. This coffee is usually roasted in a factory days or weeks or months previously.

 

Caffino’s on-site, micro-batch roasting produces premium, fresh coffee every day

At Caffino, despite the small size of our coffee bars (200-350 square feet), we roast our coffee on site. We start with specially selected, Grade 1 Arabica beans (the top 5% of each year’s crop) and roast these beans one pound at a time.
 

The art of coffee roasting is at your fingertips

Our machines ensure that the roasting process is automated and user-friendly. The electronic automated control system monitors the coffee bean temperature and automatically cycles the burner on or off throughout the active roast cycle.

 

Caffino baristas can roast coffee to any desired degree of darkness, producing anywhere from one to twenty five pounds of freshly roasted coffee per day with minimum labor and energy.
